CHRIS CERNA: Mandolin / Vocals
Bluegrass came into his life around seventh grade. He played mandolin for High Tide Band, which was his first bluegrass band back in Hawaii. When people ask him, “Why Bluegrass?” for him it’s because of the tight harmonies, great instrumentals and meaningful lyrics. At Huckfinn 2008, which was his first festival, he had a chance to go up on stage and play with Rhonda Vincent. His Bluegrass influences are IIIrd Tyme Out, The Lonesome River Band, Bill Monroe and Chris Thile.
CELESTE CERNA: Bass / Vocals
Celeste has been in the bluegrass scene since the year Lonesome Otis was founded in 2008. At that same time, she has also learned the bass while traveling with her husband Chris Cerna performing jazz gigs around Southern California. She’s always been a big fan and supporter of LO band and has been to every bluegrass festival they played until she auditioned to be their bass player and became an official member in 2010. Her very first bluegrass gig with LO was at the 2010 HuckFinn Jubillee Festival. Since then she became an integral part of the band who provides a solid hard-driving, heart pounding rhythm on bass and vocals.
DAVID DICKEY III: Guitar / Vocals
